Adventure Awaits! Live. Love. Play. LOCAL!

Welcome to Episode 1 of our Adventures in BruceGreySimcoe series - Winter Wonderland: MEAFORD!

Due to Covid*, our adventure series was restricted to outdoor areas only. This meant that we missed out on showing you our typical start to our day with coffee and breakfast bagels at McGinty’s - with carrot cake to-go lol! Visits to local coffee hubs, pubs, and eateries will have to wait until next time. For now, we’re showcasing our favourite parks and trails close to home within the Municipality of Meaford: Beautiful Joe Park, Trout Hollow Trail and Bighead River, Hibou Conservation Area, and Meaford Memorial Park, with pitstops at the harbour and marina. Glorious!

Thank you to our Musical Guest with his original songs as the soundtrack... Drew McIvor!
Songs: You and Me and You // Flow // Marmora Blue // Verity

*UPDATE: Times have changed and the lockdown is over woohoo! This means that shops and restaurants are open for business. They’ve been hit hard through these surreal times. It’s still an uphill battle for some, if not most, as there may still be provincial health and safety guidelines to follow and other related challenges. So let’s do what we can to show them our support - shop, eat, and play local! Be safe. Be well. Be kind. We’re all in this together xo

About Us: Marissa Dolotallas & Chris Scerri

After owning an outdoor store in the city and leaving it all behind in pursuit of… well, the outdoors - we landed in Meaford on beautiful South Georgian Bay. Since then, we’ve each carved our own paths - but we’ve always found a way to work together - like this project: Adventures in BruceGreySimcoe - where we can combine both our passions: Adventures + Music, i.e. Rise and Shine Adventures meets Chris Scerri Presents! Last but never least… our favourite furry friend… Sawyer! He loves the outdoors just as much as we do - and even has his own store… See Sawyer Run!
